Look at the base side on and the capsules are not stacked square under the foot: they lean towards the toe, one after another, all the way along. That angle is the point. The landing collapses them from the back forward rather than all at once, so the step rolls on instead of stopping dead underneath you.
The listing describes an engineered knit upper for breathability and a close fit, a cushioned sole of hollow capsules that absorbs the landing and returns it on push-off, and a rubber outsole for traction on hard surfaces.

The sole is most of the cost. Capsules this large have to be molded, angled and bonded as separate pieces, and the rubber that caps their bases is another operation. A flat foam wedge is one mold, one press and done, which is why most shoes at this price use one.
We sell direct from EU warehouses. There is no shop floor between this and you and no distributor taking a cut on the way, so the retail margin that normally sits on top of a pair like this is simply not in the price.

They are hollow capsules. Each one collapses under the landing and opens again as the foot rolls forward, and because they lean towards the toe rather than sitting square, that collapse runs front to back instead of happening all at once.
The laces do not run through punched eyelets. They pass through a molded band that wraps the midfoot, so pulling them tight closes that band around the arch and spreads the hold across the whole middle of the foot rather than along a line of holes.
